Projects

Here's a few of my web site projects I have competed recently:

Helping With Furniture

This project came about through a posting at work about volunteering for local charities. I contacted HWF and offered to rebuild and modernize their web site and manage their hosting services. We now have a new Drupal-based site with vastly improved hosting capabilities that allow us to grow and enable more advanced internet tools like mailing lists, photo galleries and donator management. HWF is also saving money now on it's hosting by changing providers that we can put towards our other critical operating expenses like gas, insurance and furniture storage costs.

Wellington Bomber Crashes in Creswell, Derbyshire, UK 5 August 1944

12.jpgThis is a short report on the fate of the crew of a Vickers Wellington X bomber that crashed on the 5th of August 1944. The pilot of the airplane was Willis Don Murdie, uncle of my two half brothers, brother-in-law of my late mother from her first marriage during WWII.

New Design for St Columban-Irish Web Site

I liked drupal for my own site and this theme Acquia so much that I am adapting St. Columban-Irish web to a modified version of the same theme. Still very much a work in progress as most of the links point to the old version of the pages but over time I'll be converting the content to Drupal. Take a look
